Wake Me Up Before You Go Go (also known as Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go in the series) is a song in the main series of Just Dance, officially appearing for Just Dance 2. It is by Wham!

Synopsis[]

Wake Me Up Before You Go Go is a song in Just Dance 2 and is also featured in Just Dance Now and the Just Dance Unlimited service. It has two dances associated with it: the Classic Version (comprised of a Solo dance done by a male coach) and an Alternate Version, (formerly known as the version "from The Emoji Movie", comprised of a Duet dance done by). In the series, the Classic Version was originally marked with a 1 difficulty rating, though it has switched to a Medium difficulty rating while the Alternate Version is marked with an Easy difficulty rating; the Classic Version was also originally marked with a 2 effort rating, though it has switched to a Moderate effort rating while the Alternate Version is marked with a Low effort rating;

In Just Dance 2, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go's Alternate Version does not appear. This is because it is a dance that would officially appear for the Just Dance Unlimited service.

In the Just Dance Unlimited service, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go's Alternate Version is featured under the "Watermelon" Dance Quest, though the Dance Quest is only available through the service in Just Dance 2016 and Just Dance 2017.

The Classic dance takes place in front of an abstract backdrop. The backdrop consists of two pink lines, dots, and multiple scratches, splotches, and streaks. The majority of the dots remain in tact during the performance, but a few of the dots blink in and out numerous times during the same performance.

The dance from The Emoji Movie takes place in two areas. One is inside a phone featuring a dancefloor, a disco ball, and multiple slots, and the other is in the database of the app Just Dance Now. During the performance, multiple characters from the movie appear including Hi-5, Mel Meh, and Mary Meh. Prior to the performance, a text conservation occurs with the use of emoji.
