Superstition is a song in the main series of Just Dance, officially appearing for Just Dance 4. It is by Stevie Wonder. The dancer for this song is Mehdi Kerkouche.[citation needed]
Synopsis[]
Superstition is a song in Just Dance 4 is also featured in Just Dance Wii U, Just Dance Now and the Just Dance Unlimited service. It has one dance associated with it: a Solo dance done by a male coach. In the series, it was originally marked with a 1 difficulty rating, though it has since been listed with a Medium difficulty rating and is now listed with an Easy difficulty rating. It originally had no effort rating, though it has since been given a Low effort rating.
Setting[]
The dance takes place in a dark environment with images of various symbols; a few of the symbols resemble faces. At some points of the performance, circular markings appear on the bottom of the environment; all of them except for one are outlines, and in contrast, the other is filled in with a design.
Trivia[]
- Superstition is the only song on Just Dance Wii U to have a higher difficulty rating, it's original difficulty rating was 1 (Easy), before being changed into a difficulty of Medium. From Just Dance 2019 and onwards, it is now marked with a difficulty of Easy.
- The coach makes a cameo appearance in Want U Back.
- In all the Mashups from Just Dance 4 that the coach appears in, the arrows are aqua green instead of tangerine.
- The avatar's outline colour is different, it is lime green instead of orange.
- The dancer has an unused colour scheme: He originally had blue hair, a yellow shirt with red suspensers, an aqua green glove, blue leggings and yellow shoes. The glove is surprisingly aqua green, which may refer to the arrow colours of this coach in all the Just Dance 4 Mashups he appears in.
- A Mashup and Puppet Master Mode were considered for Superstition, but both of them were quickly scrapped. Their files can be found in the ISO. However, there has not been anyone known to have opened one of them, so we cannot get a look at what it was going to be like in-game.
