Daddy (stylized as DADDY) is a song in the main series of Just Dance, officially appearing for Just Dance 2017. It is by PSY Ft. CL of 2NE1.

Synopsis[]

DADDY is a song in Just Dance 2017. It has two dances associated with it: the Classic Version (comprised of a Trio dance done by a male coach and female coaches that turn into male coaches in the chours) and an alternate "Father/Son Version" (comprised of a Duet dance done by two male coaches).

In Just Dance 2017, DADDY does not appear in the Chinese variant. As a whole, DADDY's Father/Son Version is locked. To unlock it for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox One renditions, a user has to purchase it with 2,000 Mojo Coins. To unlock it for the PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 renditions, a user has to continuously play the game until it shows up as the sixth alternate revealed. Additionally, DADDY has a mashup, though it is not included in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 renditions, streamed as a free item through the Unlimited service in the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox One renditions, and is locked by a 20 Mojo Coins price point in the Wii rendition. DADDY's Classic Version is also featured under the "High Energy" Dance Quest while DADDY's Father/Son Version is featured under the "Family" Dance Quest in Just Dance 2017 variants/renditions that have Dance Quests (Due to its absence in the Chinese variant, DADDY's Classic Version is replaced by RADICAL's Helmet Version in the High Energy Dance Quest and DADDY's Father/Son Version is replaced by Don't Stop Me Now's Panda Version in the Family Dance Quest.)

Setting[]

The classic dance takes place in a room on a checkerboard floor. The floor changes colors throughout the performance, and the area behind the coaches changes at a few points into an open atmosphere with numerous squares either rotating to the right or spurting out towards the front.

The Father/Son dance takes place on a set with multiple props that tend to have designs on them. Throughout the performance, the set will change into an area simulating space.

Mashup[]
