A Battle from Just Dance 4

A Battle is a mode in which two coaches from their respective songs fight against each other in a dance-off to come out supreme. This mode first appeared in Just Dance 4 and later appeared in Just Dance 2014.

Setting[]

In Just Dance 4, the setting was different for each battle, but they appeared in two variations that matched the style of each coach. Whoever was winning would have their variation of the setting appear, and it would switch or stay accordingly throughout.

In Just Dance 2014, the setting took place in a room with a VS sign displayed and a screenshot of the setting from one of the coaches' source song in the background. Likewise with the battles from Just Dance 4, the setting background would switch or stay depending on who was winning.

There have been a total of nine battles; five from Just Dance 4 and four from Just Dance 2014.

  • Tribal Dance vs Rock Lobster, Kiss You vs Pound The Alarm, and C'mon vs #thatPOWER are the only battles in which the dancers are from dances that are not Solo dances.
  • The dancer for Fine China in Gentleman vs Fine China is from the Extreme Version. It is the only one to have a dancer from an alternate version be used as the representative
  • Many dancers have slightly altered appearances from their original versions. Such examples include the dancer for Call Me Maybe having black hair instead of pink hair.
